Scientific & Technical Journals
Scientific and technical journals are challenged by many different input file formats from diverse authors, rendering complex equations, and managing cites and references.
Traditionally many authors have used applications like Donald Knuth's TeX and LaTeX to create content, especially complex equations. The ideal solution is to use an XML-based system with MathML.
But industry support for MathML is not 100% (FireFox, Mozilla and Netscape 6/7 support MathML but IE5/6 does not). This requires journal publishers to invest in hybrid solutions like the one shown here.
We can help you design an optimal solution for four-colour print, web, wireless and CD-ROM output.
