Knowledge Management
Kontentsu develops implementation-independent ways of managing enterprise knowledge, e-commerce applications and complex customer-support applications.
Case-Based Searching
Case-based searching uses a metadata model to define a case for searching and retrieval. Unlike standard classification schemes, which are based on metadata or keywords attached to the content object, the metadata model is defined and maintained in an abstraction layer in the search engine. Thus, metadata models can be changed to reflect new requirements without having to re-classify existing content objects. Our metadata models support attributes, sets of attributes, weighting of attributes, symmetrical and asymmetrical similarities.
Topic Maps
A topic map creates a semantic web for knowledge retrieval in large content repositories. It captures subjects and their relationships in a way that is implementation-independent. It conveys knowledge about information through a superimposed layer, or map, of the information.
